I THINK I fixed the character name bugs in AutoMinister. (At least it's
working for me.) Likewise, the character skill sorting issue (for
characters over 100 skill points with artifacts) should be sorted out as
well.
I also added a starting 1650/2950 character database that auto-populates
the Enemy Character section, if desired. However, I'm not in any
1650/2950 games, so I don't have those XML files to test it with. Anyone
in these scenarios is welcome to try it out and give me feedback. (Note
that it will only ask if you want to import this starting data if you
don't have any enemy character info already present.)
As for the Excel 97 issue, I don't have access to that version of Excel
here or at work, so I can't fix the problem on my end. If someone with
Excel 97 who isn't in any 4th Age games (the only kind I play) is
willing to share XML file info and help me test it out, I'd be willing
to give it a go. (This would involve frequent communication back and
forth.)
Anyway, the new AutoMinister is posted to the website. You can get to it
directly from my website, or via the Middle-earth Games Links page.
