Brad,
I do apologise to you and any others on the list who feel my tone was
patronising. I also apologise for having an opinion and stating this on what
used to be an open and friendly list.
I was simply detailing the possible reasons behind the problem, and putting
them across in a nice simple, easy to understand way. This avoids having to
re-write the post when someone asks me what I meant, if I had only put a
brief note in.
Now, if you feel that this is patronising then once again my apologies, but
I'd like to ask one question: Why is it the American's think that everything
us Brits say is either patronising or sarcastic?
We are not out to get you. There is no great divide (besides
geographically). Now please visit a surgery and get that huge chip removed
from your shoulder.
Shaun.

The patronizing tone is rarely helpful, but I do
appreciate your intent. You had the answer, and then deflected the blame to the
victim. The group must send the email to me@middleearthgames
with sends the autoresponse, I suppose. Best idea I've
heard yet. With 200+ people on this email list, I have a hard time
believing we've all got our email automatically
filtered into various folders, etc............. It's
not the same as "obviously, if you put the car in
Drive, you will not continue moving backwards....."I personally have an INBOX. I hope you see the point.
Meanwhile, there is a problem, it has been recognized
by the company, and Clint has so graciously advised
that it will be corrected. Thanks Clint...so I'm not
seeing ghosts following me to work..........Regards,
Brad Brunet
