Harley always has to fiddle with this game and inject itself into it. Would you guys just administer the game and get creative with one of your other games?

Very harsh of you I feel. The game is old and far from perfect, and is in need of change in order to keep it up to date and attractive.
I can't fault the colour maps for effort, and it is an improvement which we're not actually being charged extra for. It is a shame however that it has not been made optional. From the pdfs I see, it appears to still be optional to have large format or small double format, so I don't imagine it's a technical mountain to have optional black and white maps.
It is possible to please all of the people some of the time.

I can only reply if I know who I am chatting to here. If you would be kind enough to get in touch then I can answer your question.
Much appreciated.

This is totally out of line. Whether you agree or not
with any changes ME Games is making, belittling their
efforts to improve the game, along with those who
appreciate them, is crass.
If you don't like a given change say so without
disparaging remarks about the entire company or its
intent.
Clint's remarks, as below, are always polite and
constructive, and there's no reason we can't respond
in kind. Sniping has no place here.

...without needing to go on to the merits or faults of
the maps (which I don't advocate, actually). The issue
here is not the maps, it's how we respond on this
list. We can disagree on specifics without being
broadly snide.
OvathaEasterling's response to Colin, for instance,
was not rude (save perhaps, for attributing Colin's
support solely to his friendship with Harley staff).
He made points about GSI's service versus Harley's and
while I disagree (GSI is why I left ME-PBM seven years
ago and Harley is why I'm back), it's good to have the
chance to share differing opinions.
But blanket derision of all efforts at improvement are
less than helpful.
