Police in south-western England are warning parents about a new crime wave
that is sweeping the region: Pokemon card theft.
The warning was issued after two 10-year-olds were held up at knifepoint and
forced to hand over their collection of Pokemon cards in the town of
Swindon.
Police say some of the rarer cards of the much sought-after Japanese cartoon
characters are worth at least $360.
They have also warned parents that such theft is not confined to the
south-west, saying it has become a national problem.

p.s actually I feel sorry for the 10 year olds. If I got mugged, I would say
'these things happen', but a 10 year old could be frightened for life from
an knife attack.
