Questions,
As this game is FA based, how big is the map actually ?
Meaning,
1) Is the actual map bigger than the given map ?
2) Can chars / armies go "off-map" ?
3) Can you place "off-map" pop ctrs ?
4) Are "off-map" ruins & the two Kingdoms strategic pop ctrs in existence
?
It's bigger than the colour map. Normal sized. No PC placement available
at all.
You can't win using the SS pcs nor steal/affect (from) them.

"Off-Map" meaning the hexes outside the map given in 5armies.pdf.
Can't threaten or capture as well, I mean the Strategic Pop Ctrs.
Not quite answered, the "Ruins" are still there ?
