way round. No problems and no hard feelings. I’ve played a couple of
grudge games against single man teams including Clint so don’t kid yourself

After Ed pulled the plug we accepted Alain’s challenge as they were so
eager to play us. <g> Good luck in finding opposition; we;ll be happy to
consider playing you guys after we finish off the present opposition.

Mike Sankey is the team captain of our team, not Ed. Ed was part of our 6-man team which we have dissolved and re-created as a 4-man team, which Ed is not a part of. So Ed was just speaking for his own part, and certainly not on behalf of the new team he is not part of.
Secondly Mike sankey had email correspondance with you (on behalf of our new team), where you directly wrote that you rather wanted to play against a larger team. So the situation can ONLY be judged as you rejected our challenge (after learning that we were four players), after my opinion because you were scared off 
Anyway fine enough, take the challenge you like first. When we are both finished with the next match, we can play each other if the situation permits it.

Fair enough Kim, I wasn’t in the know over your team dynamics… It wasn’t
me who corrosponded with Mike and must have missed the forwarded email
Darren put out. Emails do get lost with 100+ ME emails swamping my
email box everyday. Shame, let’s see if we can sort out a game in a few
months.

We really want some REALLY tough compotition in our next game (and maybe experience what it feels like to lose a game:-0), because we have won everything we have played so far and also against skilled teams. In order to do that I think we would be willing to wait two month for your team (which sounds pretty powerful), if we knew that we had a deal then.
But we of course cant wait for ever, so if you cant guarantee anything, we would need to accept the first interesting challenge we got, so we get some action going…
