Below is the answer from a team captain from a team that has
less than 7 MTs/Cities left from their original starting MTs/Cities
and with only 5 nations out of 12 surviving while all twelve of
their opponents are alive, completely intact and fully healthy,
who on the average has a turnly revennues of 40K min.
They are miserable enough to attempt to deny being outplayed
to try to snatch victory through the one ring.
My advice to all captains of other teams in the WC, if you need
a win badly and a pushover opponent, play them but do so at
the risk of playing an unsporting team that doesn't admits to being
outplayed and be prepared to pay for additional turns to hunt
them down like flies.
I think that you might find the one ring being a totally viable option to
win the game if you are losing. Besides we didn't try anyway. Hunting us
down like flies would obviously be only the case if we actually bothered to
place a Capital outside Mordor. Did anyone of us do so ? I think not..
We are here to enjoy ourselves more than anything else and we enjoy playing
in the WC. Perhaps in the next game the lovely Royal Mail wont actually lose
some of our turns and we lose another nation through them. Its becoming a
regular theme so far. If we had gone for the One Ring you may call it
unsporting but I think you might find everyone else will have a different
view..

Then perhaps in the future, be etter at communicating
a bit. Ignoring many inquires, even from opponents,
should not be the case. And we're all in this for the
fun, but I can't see how the last 3 turns have been
fun for your side, except perhaps when you like to
read losing battle reports. The mail is the mail, but
be a bit more sporting in the future, eh? You guys
wasted the money to keep playing too, and it makes it
even worse if you weren't going for the ring and just
making us pay for the sake of it.

I hardly recieved any enquiries from your side. I think I might have 1
or 2 in total and I got asked more by someone who isn't even playing MEPBM.
(He used to though). IF you had written to me you would have got a reply.
(To be perfectly I have no idea if the others were going for the ring.. I
know I wasn't since I was more interested in Angrenost and I made an arse of
it.. At least Dunland got some action at the end <g>... He did ask for it of
course)

Perhaps in the next game the lovely Royal Mail wont actually lose
some of our turns and we lose another nation through them. Its becoming a
regular theme so far.
**This is why we STRONGLY encourage players to use email to send in turns. Good to hear you are up for another - I have the odd player interested
if you want some extra support and I am pretty sure we can get others to
join in. Who should I chat to? I know the Scandanavian team is dying for
opposition.
If we had gone for the One Ring you may call it
unsporting but I think you might find everyone else will have a different
view..
Well I would like to speak to the rest of the original team first off
and see who would be up for another game. Since another one of my games is
about to finish (As are a bunch with other companies) which should free up
some time and allow me to actually take more than 20 mins on my Middle Earth
turn each time around.

A one ring victory is a fine thing to achieve.
