Thanks Greg for a decent write-up in Bree22.
Yes the DS drop was a precipitous act and some of us had reservations about it, particularly as communication between the captains was brief to say the least. However in defence of our captain, the FP did not reply to many of our mails - and an agreement regarding the one ring had been made - we found the original mail…

Despite that, your write-up quite accurately described the events of the game - although you did miss Fornost Erain’s capture to WK forces on turn 7 …no mean feat! :smiley:

MEPBM is a game of human interactions. A not uncommon human interaction is for one side to be less skilled than the other but still win because of tenacity/determination/stubborness. That appears to be the case in this game. Referance the Spanish/Dutch war and the Viet-Nam war as historical examples.I am constantly amazed at how this game mimics the Real World, from Blechley Park crypto intercepts to Old Testament Ruses.
