42,
The rule book clearly states that if you are trying to bridge a major river,
then you can only build the bridge between hexes that have a road passing
through the same hexside as the planned bridge.
In other words, you can only build the bridge between 2924 and 3024.
And no, you can't build a bridge between 2926 and 3026. Sorry!
Finally, a study of the map shows that the only possible places you can
build a bridge over a major river is where existing bridges stand at the
start of a game.
The only exception to this is FA-1000 where you can build your own roads, so
can better influence the positioning of bridges.
Hope this helps.
Shaun.

Subject: [mepbmlist] Bridgebuilding 101
Hi there
I've got a question about bridgebuilding.
Say the 'Minas Tirith (2924) - Osgiliath (3024)' bridge is out and you
want to build another bridge across the river, can the bridge then be
made to go into 3025 or 3023 (that both have roads) or does it have to
be rebuilt to Osgiliath? On the same note could you build a bridge between 2926 og 3026?
Thanks.
