Is there a document somewhere that tells what suffix you use when naming a character to get an orc-type picture?
I remember seeing one but due to diminished capacity, I can’t seem to find it now.
Thanks

Its on the Automagic excel sheet. Look for tab “General Info”, all the way down and to the right.
Here is what it reads though:
ORC PICTURES: If you are a DS and name a character with the following suffixes, it will have an Orc/Troll picture:
guk, mog, luk, rog, urg, urk, uruk, lug, hai
Cheers
Thank you very much.
Growing old is a bitch
I think you have to be one of the 10 starting DS, though. I tried an orc suffix recently as a DS Corsairs and it didn’t work if memory serves. No Pirate Orcs for me.
Well, Saruman starts with a couple of orcs. As a FP recently I got a Dwarf picture for a new agent (eh?) so I would suspect an “urk” is possible for him, no?
To RKFloyd.
That is true, no pirate orcs for you in your case. The 5 neutrals are “mannish” races I think and can therefor not get orcish pictures even after turning DS. I have tried the same with a DS Rhudaur and a DS Harad. No orc pictures even when using the suffix.
To player:
By “Dwarfs picture” do you then mean that you got one of the starting pictures from a dwarf character on a new named char ? Strange ?! Did you play dwarfs or another nation ?
I named an agent, and the picture was a Dwarf. Starting Dwarf? I doubt it…but the do all tend to look the same…
“the picture was a dwarf” - hrmm ? - I must admit that I find it hard to determine race from most of the pictures - sometimes even gender (Geardae being on the top of my list of guys who should be girls)
Are you casting doubt on my perceptive abilities? Take a Dwarf pdf and a South Gondor pdf and revisit the issue sometime.
