I *think* You can tell if its a real character because you find
Warlock
Saerol, Warlord Hagrog, Spy Kadida etc. It's a stock character if it
just
gives a name. Am I right? I'd appreciate it if anyone here knows
for
certain???
That is not correct. Recently in a Fourth Age game I was given a Rank
and a Name but the character was still not there. This happened on numerous
occasions.
Also on the subject of unfair character names there is a game I am
currently in a 2950 game which the Dark Servants killed Galadriel but there
is still a Galadriel running around. This character is not controlled by any
of the remaining freeps so it must be a Dark Servant character.

P.S. In game 34 I apologise to the Harad and the Quiet Avenger on the
destruction of the fleets and the death of their commanders a turn ago. We
did try to pluck them out of the water but they seem to have trouble
swimming the 500 metres needed in the armour they were wearing - South
Gondor
