Seems like more than three people are unhappy about differential
charging including some who will use Automagic! That does not include
the several who have privately expressed reservations to me but don't
post to the list. As others have suggested, if you need more money
then put everyones price up. All those using automagic, having
expressed no concern about price rises for others, will no doubt be
happy to contribute. That way everybody, except those who oppose any
price rise at all, will be happy.
My guess is, we will have price rises for non AM players whatever
arguements or suggestions are put forward and we will have to like it
or lump it. As someone who won't be using AM or Meow under any
forseeable circumstances, maybe with time I will feel more sanguine
about it but right now it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
An unhappy customer.

Greetings guys
I havent followed the automagic discussion very carefully so far, so one
question from my side:
Will the price increase effect games that are allready running?
I can understand the guys that are unhappy with the situation like the Linux
or Mac users and Microsoft haters...
I do not feel like to buy Excel.
If the prices will be increased, I as a german player would have to pay 1/3
more per turn then playing in Germany. The bank costs to fill the account not
included.....
With this in mind, I wont start any new game with Harly although the service
is fine and the guys are quite nice....

*** Yes - but MEOW and Automagic stick at the same price. We'll implement the new charges when MEOW is out and has some time for players to pick it up.

*** MEOW is stand alone (ie works on may platforms). Automagic works on most Macs.

** Credit cards are free of charge.
