I got the same result, you should have lost about 65% taking on the
army going on your info, fortifications bonus factored in.
The battle is pretty close though, a 1500 offensive or defensive bonus
gets the drag home with 100 left. Plot thickens......
you sometimes do get wierd results in battles, very rare - this is the
2nd funny I've ever seen. I had one battle last year no one can
explain - I had 2 dragons and plenty of troops yet took huge losses
creaming an army in the first combat round, 2 dragons came out with
less than 10k offence bonus. even talked to the opposing player, he
had just your normal naked HI, so funny things do happen, really makes
you wonder why!
I admit I can't figure out what was going on in that combat of yours,
assuming the information is accurately reported, but have you tried
asking _them_ before broadcasting accusations all over the place?
8) To keep the game going, Harly using the editor that most people
know they have modifies the results of the army combat to let the
Dragon Lord win so that that postion is still viable.
Do any one think this is a viable scenario

I am sorry that my post came over as an accusation. That was not the
intent. I have deleted it from the board. I was just venting today's
horrible turn and the series of events that lead to its running. Being
a grudge, we saw all of the variables and just want proper closure.
A command artifact on the dragon lord would not show up in the battle
report and could make a difference. The dragon lord could also have
refused and hired a new army, thus explaining why he was still there.
I have the dragon lord winning with a 500 point combat artifact, which
they have several of. Are you positive it didn't say so-and-so had a
sword? This is really close...

I was thinking of this also.. the Command art wouldn't show up in the report
or on the listing of the Command rank of the the commander but would affect
combat. I was going to ask if they checked the Command rating with a 10, 20,
or 30 command art.
