8) To keep the game going, Harly using the editor that most people
know they have modifies the results of the army combat to let the
Dragon Lord win so that that postion is still viable.
Do you really want to say that? You're accusing Harly of cheating in one
of their games. You have no evidence of this, only a strange army
result. Before you impugn their honor, perhaps you should have something
more than random speculation.

Actually my wording was a discussion on the plausibility of
intervention. There is no direct accusation. All laid out the
scenarion at hand and asked for discussion. I did not say that did this.

There must be another factor involved in the combat calc. Perhaps the
fortifications provide more of a defense to the Dragon Lord than the rumored
10% to 20%. IN my rule book there is no modifier for fortifications in
combat between armies alone. But we know that there is one. The reason I say
this is that I am playing NG in me72 and the FP had four small army shells
totaling 3354 mixed troops (mostly light caliber troops, the heavies are in
another army) and we fought the Dark Lts. Staring army from 3120 totaling
3200 troops (Mostly cav and HI). Using the combat calc. He should have won
but suffering 80% casualties. However, we won but suffered severe casualties
throughout.

I was that Dark Lt! I hope our throwing our blood soaked corpses on your
long pointy sticks taught you a serious lesson...... Me, it taught me the
value of walls.
