I would draw attention to middle earth quick learning curve (so that players
are not afraid to try it), different results each game (so they won't get
bored), and very effective team game (which allows beginners to learn while
the experience players do the fighting).
I'm not sure if I would mention the average length of time that players have
been playing M/E. It could mean that M/E is a great system (as no one wants
to leave), but it could also mean that the very experienced players know all
the tricks, and are going to stomp on your new players without them being
able to fight back.
I think linking to middle earth sites would be a must. I know I loved
reading every bit of info I could find about the game. However since I got a
brain overload when I tried that for Legends, you might need to carefully
word that feature.
I'm a little bit surprised at the male/female ratio, but I think that is an
industry thing, and i've no answer to get in more females. I think you have
to pretend its not a problem (when it is), and say nothing about it.
I would also refer to middle earth not being open ended. While 'technically'
a 1650/2950 could never finish (and thus be open ended), M/E is not an open
ended system. Mentioning the average time it takes to finish a game does
have it problems (as smarties could work out TIME x Per-turn cost = lots of
money), but I think its a honest approach.
