G'day Mike
I don't think Clint would appreciate me asking for a price
reduction in
a game in which I have more characters, Armies, money and Pop
Centres from
when I started the game.
The joys of being behind someone else
I think several free wish they
could say the same thing.
I was reading our turn reports and I noticed the curse squad cursed, our
agents knifed people, and our armies generally won, so it was smug looks all
round. I wasn't expecting the game to be so easy for the DS.
Also I like the Dragon you guys sent over to Osgiliath.
Did you really
expect to remove the remnants of our armies and then march
into Gondor ?
Actually we did. The remaining free are now small armies, so it was a close
thing. Of course your huge navy showing up doesn't impress us. Maybe next
game we will try to remove the SG navy, not the corsair navy. With the
corsairs about to see another m/t burnt down to the ground, i'm thinking
they were not the big nasties I was thinking they were. Even Clint's cat has
a stronger bite than some of the free in this game.
And thanks for the war-machines that your ex-army supplied to us. Now I can
remove the last port/harbour in north harad. I actually expected your navy
will reinforce the 3K of troops you just lost against me. Seems I was
reading somewhere that the free need to hurt the DS in the first 10 turns,
not just trade pop centre for pop centre. So I was foolishly thinking you
would reinforce the beachhead and try to stike out. As it is, your have lost
your forces, and i'm retaking my place (the only bad thing is that I have a
village instead of a m/t).
Maybe playing free is as hard as the articles say ?
m of the smug harad
