Well the Convention has been and gone, we'll be busy picking up the pieces
over the next few days as it was a tad hectic but lots of fun.
So we came up with a new convention to go to Olympia potentially, Copenhagen
weekend of ME gaming (on the drawing board), new contacts, players liking
(!) the tent!, lots of diplomacy and loadsa fun.

On a personal player note I got to chat to both enemies and allies in the
various games (or heard about them).
Game 35 - nice to chat to some team-mates up face to face about plans.
Game 46 - some allies there and the odd confimation from body language about
dead nation(s)... thanks Richard... 
Game 39 - new potential allies for my Easterling position
Game 47 (not playing now but...) chatted to an ally there - cool.
Game 23 - the odd confirmation of dead nations....
Game 16 - of course the taunting there never stops from the enemies - ah
well - a close game still lads...
Game 117 not in but chatted to Henning a lot about the game at the pubmeet
which was cool - traded stories on mess-ups and the like (Wargaming in
general, life, hols etc). Shame we could not get more to go to the pub
afterwards as it is good fun and could do with some more players to get it
even better.
If you couldn't make it then that's a big shame as it is such a cool day out
for your favourite hobby. For those who could make it I trust you had a
good day out and had lots of fun I know we did...
