I just did a quick study of the games that I have. Of the Corsair/Harad
combo after one had changed allegiance:
3 games had them were the same alignment - of which 2 had all the Neutrals
change to the same alignment.
15 games were different alignment. (Eg Neut/Good - Evil/FP or Neut/Evil)
Of those 15 - 11 were Neutral/Other.
So my guess would be that there is quite a split - you would expect 50/50 of
the games to have them join the same allegiance - it looks like players
actually choose the opposite. (Rhudaur regularly goes DS, same for
Easterlings. More nations go DS than FP etc. There are clear trends.)
Just thought you might be interested. (I love the new a/c program!)
That is the unfortunate side of 1650, at least. For EVERY neutral,
it is more appealing to go DS. Why? Most of the DS are hiding in
Mordor and a neutral wants options. Going DS means: Which Freepie
do I attack? Going Free means: Do this, then this, then build and
maybe try and send troops to Mordor, or hope my characters can actually
do something in 15 turns... The Easterlings may be the exception to
this, but then, I will not play the Easterlings, so I can't comment...
