Council of the Wise

As I recall Clint's posting, he was not objecting to light voter turnout but was wanting to disqualify some of the votes received because they were voting for "non-candidates".

Don't send the game ending pdf's until people turn in
their council report!

I'd bet the return rate would be 100%! However, I
doubt if anyone could ever survive all of the
bitching!

..... "non-cadidates" because they didn't vote...which is likely a majority
of the players, thus there's a reasonable chance that most votes are spoiled
because most aren't voting and thus can't be voted for...

I think this means he was most certainly objecting to light voter turnout.

Nope - I just ignore any players who vote for "self" or non-valid candidates. (I usually inform the players as well). If there's a simple way to encourage players (and just bringing awareness to it such as these discussions) then I'm for it. Any system that takes too much effort we haven't got the time for.

This month we've had 3 staff off ill for a couple of weeks, new baby and now Stu's off on holiday (deserved) for a month...

ROFL!!!! Are you kidding, or have you really had some who tried that?
