Curse Question

Hi,

most likely it has happened that your fellow teammates has cursed or challenged your target before your mage could get into the action. The message "the character is not permitted as a target" means that that the character is either already dead or non-existent.

You can get that reply if you target one of your own characters to
"practice" your curse ranks. I am not aware of any other circumstance for
this message.

Not that I have tried this. I would never dream of hurting my own
characters. Not even a little bit.

Subject: [mepbmlist] Curse Question

Gents:
I have a question regarding curses. I attempted it on a
standard
character. Not an NPC, Gandalf, Sauron, etc. I got that I couldn't
cast it "because the character is not permitted as a target." Anyone
know what this means? Are some characters immune? I don't want to
give too many more details as the game is ongoing if coming to and
end. BTW, it's a Deft Game. Something to do with them?

Yes he might have been on low health and died in the first two curses.
