I thought I had a strong claim for funniest order
error entry when my Dendra
Dwar challenged & killed Duran (I was supposed to go
for a Woodman
character - must have been drunk when doing orders).
However, I recently
came across a neutral who honourably told the DS he
was going free, marched
his armies inside Mordor, then mistakenly changed
alliegance to Dark rather
than FP.
oK, i won't go back much futher, but I had to type in
some DS orders for a person who was on holiday
He had 1000 food/steel/whatever in a pop centre which
he wanted sold
instead of ordering 320 sellcar food 1000, i ordered
310 sellcar food 1000 (so I entered a 1, instead of a
2).
the old order entry program ignores the code, so I
ended up with buying 1000 food at market price (310 is
bid from caravans, and a blank price means buy at
current buy prices). This bankrupted the nation (we DS
don't have that much money), and a healthy nation went
out of the back door with tax > 100
I wasn't popular.
actually I don't remember being asked to do his orders
when he went on his next holidays

p.s my defense of 'I send the orders to all the
others, and no one picked it up either' didn't help.
