My point is, that if I discover (by diligent
research) the answer to a riddle which is not on any
list, I'd be a fool to publish it on this list,
wouldn't I?
I just wandered in to see if there was any more news
about the USA team surrendering to the aussie lead
team in 1650 G31. Both were undefeated in 1650 grudge
games, and it was expected to be an exciting game.
The aussies were the DS (they lost the WK on T16 when
his capital was sieged and the tax went over 100%,
then the IK on T18 to a brillant combined
army/agent/emmisary attack that broke him, and then
the LR went bankrupt on T20 after failing to put in a
turn due to situations beyond his control).
But they overcame the USA playing the free who
surrended on T26.
Alas not
But I did notice that thread about orome. While I
don't know the answer ( I would say its the offical
word for middle earth - as orome just to wander over
and hunt creatures while the other valar was in the
undying lands and the elves had no yet popped up), I
do remember that in one of the grudge games some time
ago we got a dragon encounter. A successful reply
wasn't in the list of options in the normal list, so
we tried something different and emailed bobbin the
results so that he could update his master list.
I don't mind people hoarding information, but I'm
grateful for the unnamed people who came before me and
who made the riddle list and middle earth sites that I
refer to.
while other people may consider ME a highly
competitive environment, I don't have a problem with
improving the quality of play either from my side or
the other.
thanks
din
ps and back to G31. I would admit to having to change
my underwear in G31 a few times. But I would go so far
as saying that one of our main enemies were ourselves
as we kept on making 'a few' mistakes, so hopefully in
the rematch we can reduce our errors and defeat the
USA earlier
