The other thing I have not liked about army commander assassinations is the
army disbanding. How likely is it that an army would break apart and go
home when a commander is killed. Wouldn't their be lower level
commanders(non-coms) in the army?
I understand armies campaigning in the field losing their general disbanding
and fading into the hils. But I've always been of the opinion that an army on
its own population center that loses its cmdr shouldn't disband, but rather
suffer attrition from desertion until another cmd character arrives to take
charge. The larger popcenters or larger fortifictions afford less desertion, or
accomodate larger troops, whichever way you want to look at it. Army morale
should also play into this equation.
