Not that i'm paying attention to things - just logged
on to send a file to my work computer since work has a
printer
but I've been sent a few internal emails about the
difference types of games that people can play (it
seems the undefeated Oz team were checking out what's
available). One game that sounds interesting is a
free-for-all. I've never been in one, but it appears
to be a 1650 set up where there are no teams except
ones you make yourself (ala FA where free can attack
free, or dark can attack dark). In the game I heard
about, the sindar allied with the dragon lord and
dwarves to attack out the woodies.
So if your bored with the same initial moves, a free
for all sound 'interesting'. Like FA, luck plays a
huge role in the game, ie you don't want to be the
woodies in the game I mentioned above.
I'm thinking that Clint is doing the right things with
middle earth - the possibly thinks that he needs to
get us interested in playing ME games, someone is
setting up different types of games, and its up to the
players to pick which ones they like to play.
Not that I'll notice any reply (I normally ignore
these daily digests), but I wonder what are the types
of games that would be running in the next two weeks ?
Is 1650 still the most popular, or has the flexiablily
of FA taken over ? And have the spin-offs proved more
popular than the original ?
thanks
