On the sterile name calling front, I thought the Abolition of
Slavery
was a plus on our world leadership watch and Britain has done and
does it's fair share of target carrying.
Yes, Britain did outlaw the slave trade. And we in the Northern half of the states really appreciate how Britain jumped to the Union's aid when the abolitionist government used military force to stop slavery here.
