Discount schemes

I think discount schemes are a good idea, and I'll tell you why. I'm in a
game currently, not saying which one, where I am down to one character (two
actually but one is being held hostage). I consider myself a team player and
will not drop because the going gets rough. Although at the moment with the
price increase and my game situation I am considering it. Purely because I
don't regard it as good value for money. I am about to go into a fifth game
and cannot justify £3.90 for 1 character.

What I'd like to see is a pricing structure based upon the number of
characters you have, for example;

1-5 £2.00/turn
6-15 £3.90/turn (how do you arrive at £3.90 Clint?)
16-nn £5.00/turn

This, I feel, would help to encourage those on the verge of dispair to stay
in and not throw the towel in.

You need a medal mate, not a discount scheme. Either that or a course
of therapy. Clint was recently compared to a drug pusher, and look
what's happening to the tobacco firms and gun manufacturers in the US -
they're finally being made to pay. Harlequin should settle this one
quickly, and out of court, and we'll have you on a Harley Street couch
in no time at all.

No nn no nno nnno no no - as the fellow on Vicar of Dibley would say.
This idea means that rich blokes would get to play strong nations while
poor devils like me and mad devils like you, struggle along with one
character. One of the best things about MEPBM is the fact that you
can't strengthen your position by paying more. There are PBMs you know
which do do that, and they STINK.

MEPBM is already discounted to this extent - you start with 12 slots,
which grow to 21 progressively as the game continues. That's a good
incentive to make players stick at it - they get more for their money as
time goes on... except in your case. You can't really expect to be
discounted by Harlequin because your team have failed to support you
(and they HAVE if things are this bad) and are making a pigs ear of the
game. If anything, you should be discounted by your team!

I agree with Laurence here - this is not feasible to do for the pure reason
the program isn't suitable to do this at present.
