Do It Our (my?) Selves...?

I'd take something like this on. Although I've offered to
help others with ME PBM work in the past, and didn't even
receive a polite "Thanks, but No thanks"...

As for an independent rating system, hey, I'll brainstorm
with MY opinion about other players, as I'm sure others
would be willing to with ME (ouch..). But, it would require
the company as a conduit for information at least - otherwise
it's voluntary, and thus, ineffective.

Name, Account Number, play history, or information starting
NOW for all players for all games....

Spam out some ideas on what would be required folks, and
maybe some of us Players will be able to present the Company
with something concrete!

Regards,

Brad Brunet

ps I guess we'd have an A-H rating, based on votes? hehehehe

Brad,

Sounds great--one comment. Harlequin doesn't have to
maintain such a system, it could be carried outside,
on a site like bobbin, etc. Up to the challenge?

Would propose not listing players till you get at
least 5 opinoions. Might rank players (1-10) in
categories of "Play Quality", "Teamwork",
"Communication", and "Asshole" (last one is a Y/N, I
get a Y).

Up to the cahllenge?

Mike

Yep anything like that - basically unless we get a lot of players to "sign
up" for it won't get going. At present we have 2 out of 750 players saying
yes let's do this. (Maybe a few lurkers that I have missed).

Nah, this would have to be a Games Master thing - you
would always get the same core players voting for each
other. It is a bit like handing out experience points
for quality play in an adventure game - the GM has the
last word (after some debates, and pleas). Please
avoid the outside voting system...you are on a loser
with that one.
