A good response to the announcement in News from Bree of
this Free Middle Earth Diplomacy variant. The benefits of
playing with Harlequin (MEPBM Games) know no bounds.

Note that this is the website of a YahooGroups (similar to
the ME mailing list) so you will have to use or create a
Yahoo id to access the site. This is a temporary
arrangement, pending the setting up of a proper website for
the game.
Obviously there are a number of people who haven't plaed the
basic game of Diplomacy and so are not familiar with the
basic rules-system. For copyright reasons I haven't included
all of this in the main Downfall rules, but if you drop me a
line I expect I can sort something out on a strictly private
basis. On the other hand, I would also encourage people to
go out and buy the game! It's available from all good
