Due Notice (Sarcasm)

How can you hold a security clearance and not have your fingerprints
on file somewhere...?

I know people with French and UK clearances (but not both,
obviously!), and they all had to give up their pinkie prints. I find
it difficult to imagine the good ol' US of A being different.

Different database. Law enforcement is not allowed access to the
CIA's files unless the crime is against the government itself.

I thought it was common knowledge that the US government keeps
secrets even from itself! I'd like to claim this is due to amazing
efficiency and mutual best-interests, but we know this isn't the
case. =)
