Timber does not magicly fly. When the caravan recieves 10000 timber
from Noldo they just summon a mage to teleport ( I assume the
caravans can hire mages)himself to wharehouse in say Rhun area. He
tells wharehouse boss they recieved 10000 timber from Noldo and to
send 9000 timber to Northmen. No flying timber,no super fast
caravans, just good buisness. The caravans than can ship timber at
their leisure. Seems to me there would be many wharehouses spread
over entire ME. Gold would be even easier. 3-4 mages probably could
transport 10000 gold from B.S. to W.K. easy or the caravans could
have hidden banks.
Only odd assumption is no one attacks caravan wharehouses. Sauron
and Gandolf have relatives running caravans I guess.
Is all this talk about changes dribble ? Don't know but it does beat
lighthouse stories by a long shot.
