Evasive Movement

Hi All

Does anyone know what the success for evasive movement is ?
The rules state that army size and commander rank has an influence.
I assume that smaller armies have better chance of slipping past other armies.

Do you generally succeed in getting past enemy armies, or is it more at 50/50 shot ?

I’m not sure about he actually success at all to be honest and I’ve actually got an additional question for evasive movement. Can you use it to shake-off agents who use the 905 scout army order ? i.e. it’s more difficult for an agent to follow an army if the army is moving evasively ?

Cheers

The old “Whispers” magazine had an article on evasive movement that answered these questions. Now that GSI’s assets have been purchased, perhaps Harley will reprint some of these articles.

I have scouted an evasively moving army under a regent before.

Well, I guess it is a question quiet hard to awnser, since you wouldn’t know if the 905 failed because the army moved ev or just failed, but since it says under the 905 order: “Succes is based on the size of the army, its movemnet mode,…” I guess ev movement will make the 905 order harder.

PS. If everything else fails, read the manual

Very dependant on command rank (also of enemy commander maybe) and size of both armies. You question is very hard to awnser any other way… Still hope it helps

I dont even remember failing to scout an army though I have never tried with a non assassin.

Probably because lot of people don’t use the evasive movment, anyway
I think it all depends on how good your armycommander is vs the agent
who tries to follow.
