First Age Scenario

Can I interrupt all the PRS discussions etc (all of which, sorry to say, I find a bit boring!!) and ask my fellow Middle Earthers - would it be feasible to design a game based on the Silmarillion? The biggest problem I could perceive would be the map, but surely that problem has been addressed with the new 5 Armies scenario?

In any event that clash of titanic powers of good & evil would make a setting for one hell of a game!

Thanks,

Matthew

That would be cool, and should be doable using the FA1000 rules, with a bit of
tweaking. (At least, I would think so.)

We're not allowed to do it. We can do a FA game with similarities but
that's the best we can do. Names are not a problem as Richard pointed out
Tolkien re-uses names a lot.

Clint

Are you saying its specifically ruled out by the copyright/licence
agreement? I take it that must be the case seeing as there is now the Last
Alliance scenario as well.

A disappointed Matthew :frowning:

Yes it is specifically written out. We can run something that is similar in
a FA scenario though.
