Clint, why the heck didn't you make it multiplatform? It
doesn't take that much extra effort...
*** Because it does take extra effort. We haven't got the
budget for all
this extra effort. We don't have much skills with Macs
(competent users I
would say) compared with PCs and have no-one able to program for
Macs.
Er, if you use the "correct" tools, 95% to 99% of the extra work
is actually done for you. Then you burn a three partition ISO
9660 CD and away you go.
If Mac folks can create hybrid CDs without delving into
Winbloze then why can't...
.. silly question, really...
After all the flack you took over AM, why didn't you just ask
up front quietly if any Mac types could help out?

** Good we know better next time. What about the 1-5% and where do we get the information for that? We're a small firm and I am impressed how much we can get due to lots of support from our knowledgeable player base - we rely on that to get extra projects done.

** Unfortunately in the past we have not had a lot of assistance from Mac literate people here.
As to a discussion about the pros of Mac vs PCs/Win we've been there. Also we're only catering for a minor part of our potential player base making the CD useful for Mac users. You could ask why not make it useful for Amiga users as well. But point taken and we'll attempt to act on this in future.
