Flagship CD

After all the flack you took over AM, why didn't you just ask
up front quietly if any Mac types could help out?

** Unfortunately in the past we have not had a lot of
assistance from Mac literate people here.

I have repeatedly offered to help you. Never received any
requests though...

As to a discussion about the pros of
Mac vs PCs/Win we've been there.

I didn't even mention it!

Also we're only catering for a minor part of our
potential player base making the CD useful for Mac users.

How do you know this? You don't. You've simply made an
assumption based on pure sales figures. A non-partisan survey
about 18 months back showed that Mac users tend to be
more interested in intellectually challenging games than
in shoot-em-ups. Surely that indicates a potential for MEPBM...?

*** Yes we have to assume certain things.

*** There are 100s of potential different markets. Some will work others won't. This is in the minority (IMHO) - like hand-printing turns for the special collector limited edition. I take your point, we could have done it, with some assistance and extra time (we had a deadline which we only just made) it might have been possible.
