Flagship ratings

I've received a few queries about the Flagship ratings form in the
most recent Bree - and mentioned several times since by Clint.
Essentially it appears that some people have not heard of Flagship.
Well, without straying too far into advertising ...

Flagship is the wrold's leading Play-by-Mail based magazine, covering
all sorts of games playable by mail, email or over the web. Recently
the coverage of other types of gaming (eg roleplaying, boardgames etc)
has been significantly expanded. The last issue (#98) was 56 pages,
with a nice glossy colour cover. There's lots of news of all the
games, players views, reviews and full listings of all the
play-by-mail games we know about (nearly 300 in all!)

If anyone would like a free sample copy, all you have to do is contact
the editor at carol@pbmgames.com with your snail mail address. You can
subscribe online at www.pbmgames.com

The ratings are an annual even which has been running since the 1980s.
Our ratings compiler, Tim Lomas, is independant of Flagship and,
contrary to the views expressed on the mepbmlist, will allow votes
which consist of straight 10's. The Flagship Ratings are often closely
fought over by the various PBM companies and are widely regarded as a
fairly accurate representation of the quality of the various games and
GMs.
