My server (which is where these forums are hosted) is in the process of being migrated to a new machine. I am planning to move these forums over the weekend, and if all goes well, there will be less than an hour of downtime.
I will update this thread again when I have a more specific start time.

Ugh. As usual, something went horribly wrong. I think it’s all sorted out now…hopefully.
Okay, it looks like there was an issue with the web server configuration (specifically, php.ini, for the geeks among us). It looks ot be all sorted, but I bombed some people new posts.
If you made a post in the last 12 or so hours, it may have gotten nuked.
My apologies for the inconvenience and errors, but it looks like everthing is running properly again.
