I am an old player that use to play a ton that came back from a 15 year break (what’s up Dave Holt-it has been a while-John from ME & Online D&D). I am in a 1650 to get my feet wet again and a new 1650 Gunboat. I started looking at the rules here and just seems like a lot to take in for learning the game setup and that is more time then I have. Also, it seems that if you are new and do a setup and get into a game with experienced players you will be wiped out fast from players that know how to setup Kingdoms. Saying this I really appreciate the information you all are discussing here. I think I will keep reading the information you put forward and wait till one of my other games finish, and then maybe join one of these new games. Hopefully by then I will understand it better.
