Yeh Chris C's bark is more dangerous that his bite.
I'll think about the FS stuff.... Anyone else got any opinions? I'll be
chatting to the programmer tomorrow evening so feedback by then would be
great.
Note at present the US FTF is NOT on as I haven't got enough interest.
Yup, agree with what Chris C had to say, and add: I tend to skip it, and as a result just got fined for low funds (and I wouldn't be paying by cheque if I could pay automatically by credit card without being surcharged). It's too long.
Stuff about other games seems to sit there for too long - I like the player written endgame reports, and always read them, but even if you leave them there for 2 weeks only, I see them 8 times (6 turns and twice on the list). Why not publish them once here, then stick them in Bree for those who find reading this group to be beneath them?
Information about games waiting for players could be more clearly displayed in a table.
Put the account status in bigger print, with flashing lights around it, and send me a "low funds" e-mail when my account is low rather than negative. Attach spring loaded boxing glove.
Well, as usual with this message board, you all have an opinion on a
topic but when it comes to commitment, we get nothing.
I for one have already responded with an affirmative for this event
and have even charged the necessary funds to my Harly account to
cover the initial fee.
So, it is time to step forward now or forever hold your peace.
btw, I am another of the Minneapolis contingent. So, of 4 responses,
2 of them are from MN? ...and I don't even know Nick...
Nick, if you are going to stir it up, stir stronger! *grin*

Definitely agree.

DEFINITELY AGREE. Also don't understand the necessity for all
the fine print. "Two nation game, which means....but you...."
etc blah blah. How about defining the game's in the house rules,
then listing them simply as "1650-133, 1wk, 2nat, 14 taken" and
then if we ask what 2nat means, you can snootily retort that
we should be writing out a page of the house rules nightly, along
with our prayers...
