If I'm going to get on a plane and fly a 1000 (yes thousand)
miles or more, I want ti to be somewhere that, when the weekend is done,
I can continue my vacation and my wife will have something to do while
I'm gaming. Minnesota isn't it. It's a big, northern, cold state.
Winter weather there lasts well into Spring.
Hay, don't be so harsh on Minnesota. They do have two seasons there. Ice and bugs.

About the only place with less to do
than Minnesota, is Cincinnati Ohio. I can say that, I live there
(here).
I think you are seling Cincinnati a bit short. Even there (and all the above places as well) you'll at least find a theme park, with coasters and all. (Vegas's coasters are spread out around a half dozen places, but they are there!).
If you expect me to drop hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to fly somewhere, than you better at least have a roller coaster or 5, or a NASCAR race, or something more than swamps and bugs.
