fs 17/7 the real mackoy

Hello everyone...
      Updated (17/7/00)

17/7 Game 30 the first of the International World Championships game has
ended with a surrender on behalf of the UK team. Nice challenge rank for
Glorfindel on 278! So as we'll be implementing a new scoring system (sorry
that I was away and unable to sort it out) we'll sort something out there.

5/7 Game 3 another oldie on turn 55 dies an honourable death with the
Neutrals doing it again individually with 2350 VPs for Dun (Steven Phipps),
1783 For Easterlings (Damien Carroll) & 1683 for Rhudaru (David Brown).
Northmen and Woodmen tagging merrily along with the Noldo the highest
natural FP placing.

27/6 Game 8 ends with a win for Colin Forbes and the Rhudaur nation on 2400
VPs his nearest competitor himself on 1800. The game saw a close game near
the end with 4 vs 4 leaving a nice end game and capitulation by the DS. The
only actual FP left in the winning side was the Eothrim...

28/6 Game 45 (FA) game has seen a strategic victory go to the side of the
DS (all Neutrals falling by the wayside leavimng a lot of FP champing at
the bit). Individual winner was nation 22 on 1358 pts - Graeme Ambler, and
David Slatter coming in on 1333. Turn 25.

I have drop-out positions available in a number of games.
