would like to take up a position (randomly allocated unless you are playing

I can't fill a nation then I'll put you in randomly).

Goblins & Warg Riders are DS
Elves, Dwarves & Northmen are FP (the module will come with your set-up -

 We welcome feedback on this game after playing if at all possible
(still in play test stage).

GOBLINS
Led the Great Goblin Bolg, the Goblin nation is one of the most hated and
feared in Middle-earth. Goblin troops are numerous, and have a fanatical
hatred of all other races. This, and the fact that they have skilled
leaders backed up by competent agents and mages, makes the Goblins
formidable foes.

WARG RIDERS
Wargs are great wolves ridden by goblins into battle. Warg Rider armies
combine speed and shock tactics to great effect. The Warg Riders are led by
the Necromancer, one of the most powerful individuals in Middle-earth.
Surrounded by competent commanders and agents, the Necromancer can also call
upon the services of many lesser mages, and seems never to run short of
mounts for his troops no matter how many are lost in battle.

ELVES
The nation of the Wood-elves, led by their king Thranduil, is scattered in
mostly small settlements throughout Mirkwood. The Elven armies are not
numerous, but due to constant skirmishing against encroaching enemies, they
are well-trained and well-led. The Elven armies are supported by competent
agents and powerful mages, who moreover have a Hidden base from which to
operate.

DWARVES
The Dwarven nation is centred on the Iron Hills, but renetly a daring
expedition led by Thorin Oakenshield re-occupied their long-abandoned halls
under the Lonely Mountain. The Dwarves are blessed with some of the most
formidable warriors, pound for pound, to be found in all of Middle-earth.
Most Dwarves are trained warriors, burning with fiece hatred towards goblins
and wargs, so they are capable of sending a powerful, motivated and well-led
force against their foes. In matters other than military the Dwarves are
less skilled.

NORTHMEN
The Northmen nation is composed of both Lake-men and Dale-men. Their
culture is similar since both are skilled merchants and builders. The
Northmen aspire to control all trade within their area and to amass wealth.
Their numbers are not great, but they posses adequate and well-provisioned
armies led by the formidable warriors Bard I and Beorn. They also possess
deft agents with speed and cunning.

1650 2wk [Game 90]: All Available - normal 1650 2wk game
1650 1wk [Game 131]: Send me a LIST of nations - when I get to 25 players I
will allocate the positions - 4 positions taken so far (Note 95% of players
get their 1st choice)
2950 2wk [Game 223] 1-3, 5, 6 , 8, 11-13, 15-19, 23 - Email only game
1000 2wk [Game 141]: Normal FA game - one 20% Assassination/Kidnap per
alignment. 20 positions filled so far. Set-ups welcome.

Grudge Games we need opposition for:
2950: 1 team 10/12 Any alignment 1 wk Ben Shushan, 1 team 10
1000: 1 team of 9-12 player team (any alignment - most formats accepted)
David Ruzic

Thanks

Clint

Just curious:

Do you ever run 1 week 2950 games, or do you wait until a bunch
of nags like me ask for it?

Gracias,

When I get a feel for a game being able to be filled then I start taking
set-ups for the game.

For example 2950 2wk game 223 is gaining about one-two players per week - so
since Monday 4th Sept (when I started taking s/ups) I have 10 players (one
should really be 1650).

The 1wk game I have less than that - hence I would have around 5 players so
far and it would take around 6 months to fill up - by which time around
20-40% of the players would drop. (Isn't the point of a 1wk game that
players want to start quickly, and play quickly?)

Hence no game. With unusual games like this I need to know there is a
player base. I intend to run one 2950 1wk game per year and we have done
one already.

Part II:

If there is a player base and GSI allow it we run the game though! (I
have around 5 requests in 6 months so far not enough - the only way we got
the other game running was by allowing 2 nations - seems so tbe the way
forward with 1 wk games as game 131 is slowly filling as well and I will
leave that for a while after that game fills.)
