Hmm, I play in a game called Hyborian Wars set in Conan's world. In order to get
in a game faster and receive a discount, one innovative player started the
organised games, we get all 35? positions filled (the game NEVER starts with full
players otherwise, too many shitty positions no one wants, they all wants to be
either Turan, Aquilonia, Zimbabwe etc etc, no one wants Koth etc etc)

Funny thing is the program that was created to allocate the random positions seems
to monitor the HW mailing list and anyone who ever mentions the position they
DON'T want seems to forever gets it.

So Paul, if it works here as it does for the HW Organised Games, welcome to
playing the Rhun Easterlings.

Btw, the rule is besides random allocation, we get a 10% discount that gets
cancelled if any position drops b4 10 turns are up, an idea ?

RD: Long ago and far away, I too played a Hyborian PBM game, but it
collapsed because the guy runnimg it suddenly found he had to make a living,
and this was before the age of PCs (giving my age away here folks).

If there is a PBM game based on Conan's Hyboria, please tell me more. If
it's a half- decent game, I'd like to play it.

Richard.
