THE DARK SUN, Issue 23.
DARKS "GET A GRIP".
Ladeez, you will be glad to know that i`m fresh from my trekking
holiday
in the Ered Lithui. I am bronzed, buff and handsome as ever. Which is
to
say, not at all. But, i notice that we had some "printing
difficulties",
according to the so-called Mouth Of Sauron. But you`ll be glad to
know, we
flayed them alive and fed them to hungry mumakil. [They`ll eat
anything if
you starve them long enough!]
For those who are starving for news let me give you this overview;
The Gondors have all but fallen to the Dark Servants , with only a
small enclave
of the southerners holding out at Morthondost. All of North Gondors
starting
population centres have fallen. Gothmog and Co have now pushed on and
taken
Edoras, brushing aside inneffectual defence by Rohan, the White
Wizard and
various mutant Elves. Edoras is, however excpected to be the centre
of much
more carnage in the near future. In the Rhun area, many Darks armies
are closing in on
the Northmen capital, having this turn surrounded the Rhun capital
[whose
sad rag-tag army seemed more intent on capturing tiny villages in the
mountains of Mordor only to realise their folly too late and try to
rush
back in defence. What a shame. Riavod should fall this turn. Only the
North
and Mirkwood seems safe for the Freeps, yet the net is closing. And
what
do they do? they keep trying with their pathetic attempts at damaging
us
in Mordor with their highly-visible, yet timid company actions. A
tactic
which had some early success, but was thwarted by defensive cursers,
emmies
and agents. More of the same is expected.

Bill Ferny [troublesome WW agent taken out in cheeky PC by Araudagul
who was an army commander. Is Curaran cursed or something?]
Bombur [really rubbish Dwarf agent, killed by an army commander at
capital,
you see high loyalties go a long way. Also injured Beorn and
Malantur!]

Dain II [not a good time to be a dwarf. all 3 killed at 2717 by DS
agents.
bang goes that plan, huh guys?]
Galdor [developed a nasty cold and perished, awww. How many cursers
does that
leave?]
So, not as bloody as it coulda been, but rest assured there are still
plenty
of targets left for us to off in the coming weeks? One wonders if the
Freeps are getting demoralised yet? I have to say i like their pluck!
But
pluck can only go so far. The invasion continues, what can the Elven
Conspiracy
do to turn the tide?
