G231; T45: On with the bodycount!

Howdy,
Just thought i`d write to celebrate the continuing bloodshed and keep you all up to date;
This turn the darks took out 10 freeps and captured 1. The Freeps got 3 darks.

DARK DEAD:
Fornagath [cloudy agent], and nice PC by GLOIN.
Slucrac [cloudy comm], assassinated.
Saruman`s Spirit [LR agent], assassinated after thwarting the freeps best agent company. Saruman can now return to his grave. again.

FREEP DEAD:
Kodiak [NG comm/agent] at his latest capital. assassinated.
Haldir [NG emmy] also assassinated there.
Urthel [dwarven comm] assassinated at his capital.
Borgerman [a SG agent] who tried to guard at his cap. he failed!
Ellysiana [a NG top emmy], cursed for coming too close!
Cragor [dunnish? emmy], also too close, survived angurth only to be cursed to death. shame.
Theringale and Reise [oh, how we laughed over these woodmen fools], good agents failed in trying to assassinate at the WK capital and were thwarted to death. ha-ha! how inept…
Boromir [the last original NG?] assassinated at 3822 too.
Galandeor [a sinda comm], cursed at 3323.
Steverulz Chrisux [dwarven comm], captured in battle.
Also we indentified the corpse of the WW commander we ran over a couple of turns ago as Dernwyn.

boy are we having fun now…

FREEP NATIONS [still 12!]:
223 dead characters, 4 M-I-A.

DARK NATIONS: [9 nations]:
107 dead characters, 2 M-I-A.

THE LONG RIDER

…have you been cowed into silence and submission?
I bet you didnt know we had that reveal spell for 3114, did you? In fact both of ours went off there this turn...a bit of a nasty surprise, huh? You shoulda moved out to block the LR HC that came into the latest NG capital. How many is that? And have you forgiven the jittery Northmen for revealing you so nakedly yet? Pretty sad when i have to reply to my own taunts, but i just had to share the bad news--we moved in a shedload of our tops guys to 3114 this turn, just in time to meet the remnants of yours...you wanna know the real scoop? Our 2nd string are better than your "cream" at 3114...we know who is there, we know your company commanders, we have you outgunned, and the latest Ng capital is gonna be in dark hands come the end of the turn. We can out PC you, out curse you, out assassin you? Do you have any top emmies left to counter us? In fact do you have the names of our guys that are there? Surely the 90+ guys must have shown up, all those shiny arties too boosting their PC ranks. Im so looking forward to this, it could be the longest nail in the freep coffin…still 12 nations though…how many on life support now?

THE LONG RIDER

 Woodman - ground control to Major Tom!!

Woodie - How you feeling now? Red in face? embarrassed? these things happen? or are you simply happy you contributed (laugh) to the game?

Thats the fourth character you’ve lost to Witchy. Aren’t you SUPPOSED (big laugh) to be an agent nation. Doesn’t that mean you should be out killing something (your own characters don’t count!)?

Ever wondered why we knew so much about your characters at 3221? Feder was a double agent - ha! ha! He gave us 20 odd names…all those free characters in their grave because your guy was a double. We awarded Feder the black cross for services rendered to Sauron’s cause and Angulion delivered it to him personally!

Really amused us when you tried to join a company and guard a character on turn 39 when the target character in both cases wasn’t present. A little mixed up are we?

Reise & Theringale - Angulion is a little sore…from all the laughing!

Perhaps you should stick to master minding complex military offensives against unguarded camps - seems you have a talent for it - god knows you are displaying precious little talent for anything else. Maybe you’d be good at knitting?!?

A&A - a match made in Mordor

y’all have a nice day y’hear!

NG

so how are you feeling now? what do you think of our “follow through” now? pressure getting to you? NM really sold you down the river in revealing 2924!

You’ve lost 11 characters & two capitals in 4 turns. Another capital about to go and we have even more of your characters in our sights this turn (you’ll understand if we don’t disclose the number - operational reasons).

Ellysiana (your best emmy - maybe?) that had to be shock - didn’t expect that did you? Boromir now that had to hurt the pride. Surely you didn’t think yourself safe with the Woody agents. I mean we have only seen some of his ahem! play. You have seen the lot. Had thought you knew what you were doing.

Trixxie - perhaps you should retire the tramp? Can’t seem to get anything right! Save us the trouble!

Where to now for you? No possessions dubious friends a rag tag bunch of characters and relentless enemies. Care to pack it in now? Call it a day? Hope you don’t it is fun killing a nation ripping it to pieces makes my day everytime!

See you soon

A&A

To the Dark Side. Well done, looks like you have me checkmated and nothing I can do. The one thing I dont do is concede, I never concede, even when I know I’m beaten. Yes it was a big surprise to me that you got Ellysiana and were able to blast through my 130ish guard and kill Boromir. But thats the breaks and one has to roll with it. I have definitely enjoyed playing this game, and for the first time players on my team they will have learned much from this game. You know me by now, the reason I played NG is because my morale never breaks. Even in the face of overwhelming odds I will fight to the last man, and with it my last breath. Why, because it is my nature.

In the end I salute you, well played and earned.

Till the next time we meet.

NG

…but havent we been here before? The nation formerly known as Rohan tried to convince us wed eliminated him [when we knew better] some time age. We knew he had irons in the fire and emmies who could take over new capitals [though hed also told us he had 4 MTs]. Similarly we know you have emmies out there [though not many]…we know it aint over, still 3114 will be fun, im looking for a base in mirkwood...id suggest your friends duck and cover, they are outmatched where they thought they would dominate.
