G34 and typical Harad vs SG fighting of words.

pps I'm in a thinking mood after seeing tactically brilliant moves by
several free in G34 last turn :frowning:

    What really ? <g>

Obviously the old free have dropped, and new ones have taken their place.

 back to you

Given credit where credit is due, I was very impressed with the corsair
fleet movements. One remained on his capital (good move to just sit and
avoid the battle), another correctly picked that my victorious army would
move to another m/t (very impressed with that one). And the rest stayed and
died to make me lose some troops (normal orders). Two dead corsair
commanders, one captured commander, and the corsair capital is no more. But
it could have been worse for the free.

Someone correctly worked out my entire battle plan and movement orders (I
assume you have an aussie or a yank playing in your side ???). I actually
felt you wouldn't notice me sneaking to another corsair m/t (does he have
many left ???) since Haruth was only a regent, and Meriot is stive alive and
kicking. I was counting on you expecting me to RC and attack/destroy pop
centre. Since Meriot jumped up last turn for a PC (to which I RC), I
expected the same. I have backup to continue the fight in case I lost the
PC.

Of course it didn't help the corsairs save their capital (or the 2000 troops
that dies in the rout), but it's not my fault that his main armies were off
fighting over left overs, and my Harad wandered in 5700 HI to the Corsair
capital (plus a few QA helpers to help muster the docile corsairs to their
slaughter). One turn's warning wasn't enough to do much to alter the outcome
of that little walk in the park.

The only disappointed was that I had expected meriot to PC someone (or
anyone). If he wasn't there, then thats a major shock to the system. Now if
you lot have been playing this well when the game started in winter, we
might not be winning so easily in all areas of the map (humble is not my
middle name).

thanks

p.s your naval ferrying of troops to the front are overdue. Whats the hold
up ?
