the following is a conversation overheard in the commander's tent at
the allied freep camp outside the village/tower of Tirthon, flying the
evil flag of Rhudaur.
Lord Gaerdae: 3 months into the conflict and finally we get to burn
down something of the DS, this village will make a nice BBQ. Or maybe
you should threaten it Lord Bain?
Lord Bain: er? what was that? <mumble mumble> I'm sure I'm missing
something, didn't I have a ring on this finger?
Lord Gaerdae: Do you ever listen to me? Now, you're going to tell me
you didn't take out that Rhu army at Rivendell last turn!
Lord Bain: Me? You were supposed to attack!! Anyway, it was only a
small army, what damage can it do?
Lord Gaerdae: Ah, not to worry, Captain Elrond is leading the home
garrison, I'm sure he can take care of himself......
