Game 062

Got your email, Harad. Replied to it so you should get it. I hate techno trouble.

Ha… but will you live to see the winged devils?

Pray that you don’t live to see them…:fork:

The WiK would smile indeed if the Corsairs moved into Cardolan’s area. 4-6 turns of moving a substantial force away from his homelands…hmm…smile indeed if the plan were to lure away the Corsairs to invasion by other powers…

Subterfuge is but one of the weapons of Sauron. Surely the intelligent Corsairs see through this ruse…the neutrality of all 5 nations is respected by the Noldo and all free nations. We are not in the business of suggesting open war when it is obviously not called for…

And dragons, there are a plenty in a few turns for you to use, but there are recuitable allies for the free as well…do not think we shall be empty of allies in this endeavor.

Enjoy your lands in the north while you still have them. Soon those inhabitants will breathe free and remain or be relocated to another realm as they so desire.

Noldo 62

Teldumeir: “Yo, Lord Angamaite, you read the newspaper today?”
Angamaite: “Corsairs in the news?”
“Oh, yeah.”
“What did we do this time? Don’t tell me Faltur has been selling those kootie-infested blankets on the world market again.”
“No, m’lord, nothing like that. Noldo are afraid that Witchie-poo is leading us north to attack the Cards.”
“The Arizona Cardinals?”
“No, Cardolan.”
“Last time I checked, we Corsairs were neutral. What would make poor Noldo so afraid of us? Sheez - did you see that DS army on Dol Amorth! Wow - can’t wait for the updates from both sides.”

SPOILER ALERT… don’t read if you want to wait for the full news…

Woodmen must be very unhappy this turn… loosing a MT to the Dragon Lords invincible armies…

Dwarves must be very unhappy this turn… failing to Threaten Goblin Gate… what ever led you to believe the Goblins would be more threatened by a bunch of stunty beardie smelly folks than by the Dragon Lord.

Oh, and I believe the assassins have started working too…

Regards

Michael
WiK

I live… and I now see them

“And Sauron said, let there be napalm… and lo, there was a dragon, and he was both terrible and beautiful to behold”
Quote from the Book of Sauron (OK, I made that up  )

Michael
WiK

Yes, that may be, but i see our friends in Fangorn are becoming extremely restless as well.

Last time I checked, wood burns quite nicely…

Yes, but last time i checked, while dragons have fire, the Free and Allies have brains.

As an aside to NG and DL “Get Orf My Land!”

You should have got my views on Border violations on Turn 1 that I sent out on Turn 1.

Cheers Adrian.

Heeeyyy Adrian,

Nice to finally see and hear from you on the thread.

Greets all,

Sorry for not having posted before, but last 4 weeks at work have been a killer. Yet, after reading the thread, there are a few minor things I would like to say:

  1. It is true that Cardolan coastal towns are nice places to visit. Just clear your visas with the FP navies first. They tend to be a bit trigger happy with those crossbows and catapults of theirs.

  2. It is utterly false that WiK pop centers are nice places to visit. They are so lice-infested I had no recourse but to level a couple. Arthedain is sadly having to do the same. But fear not, the land will be put to good use once it is cleared of its current “inhabitants”.

  3. It is utterly false that Cardolan forces have invaded Easterling territory. Whoever is spreading those rumors, do not even listen to them.

  4. It os true that Cardolan armies in WiK territory are complaining about their living conditions. When they signed up for free, they thought they were going to more southern, and warmer, climates. When they realized they had to win their spurs in the cold north first well, the complaints and transfer request started.

  5. If any neutral or evil party would like to say hi, either friendlily or not, drop me a line at globales1<at>hotmail<dot>com. I promise I will be nice, even if my armies will not

Anyway, may we all have fun, win or loose.

Jorge

Hey hey, Jorge…
I hear that the Dwarves are also complaining about the Dragon Lord PCs. The Dwarves should be taking care of the lice and roaches this turn though. I hear they called the Orkin man.

Okay, time to deal in reality.

Fact – Dwarves get up the gumption, yet fail to threaten GG. Oops!

Fact – Woo smells loads of smoke coming from a backup MT. Oops!

Fact – Nor is sweating bullets, or, if not, should be. Oops!

Fact – Eo has yet to mount any effective offensive. Oops!

Fact – Even with combined efforts, FP has yet to strike a significant blow in the North. Oops!

Fact – Ithil pass is secure, and DS continues to smote the FP armada. Oops!

Fact – Morder is rock solid, and is generating the hordes for which it is known. Oops!

Fact – Agents and cursers have only just begun to emerge. Oops!

Fact – The time of the FP is ticking, the time of the DS is nigh. OOPS!!!

 :bash:

Mark (FK)

Hail Cardolan!

The rumour about you invading my territory was not from my lips.

Ovatha II.

Unfortunately enough, the men on the North can’t sweat, seeing as we are in the far NORTH! But we are very exceptional at making igloos and killing polar bears.:fork:

Indeed now it does seem that agents are moving around the board. Emissaries and agents far a’field in the southern lands? Yes. Indeed.

Turn 4 orders now submitted for the wily and unpredictable Corsairs of Umbar. M’Lord Angamaite has a message to both the FP and DS:

“Dragons can’t come this far south - it’s too hot. Elves can’t come here either - unless they wear plenty of Sunblock 20.”

So, now results are in for turn 4. Which order# do I use to convert nation gold into USD and pay for my turns?

Meriot, dear dear Meriot. Failed again trying to research that spell, eh? We’ll have to punish you.

“Please no - no - not ‘the nose in the spellbook’ again!!!”

Yes, Meriot, it’s time for ‘the nose in the spellbook’ again. SNAP!

Wow the rumors are wild this turn! Kidnappings, personal challenges, assassinations …

New Dunlendings Here.

Last chap dropped. I have a big heart for lost neutral nations…
