OK. Game 141 (FA1000 Gunboat game) has ended. I was playing The Black
Kingdom and The Dark Order nations. I was wondering if anyone was
willing to send me their final XML (and even PDF) files. I'd like to
generate a final Palantir map, showing me everything that was missed.
I'm willing to send out the final map, and zipped XML files to those who
contribute their own.
CLINT: Do you guys keep file records of the game? It would be
interesting to see the original situation by generating an initial map
as well.

I would play in PWR FA100 GB game is there was enough interest. By my
count there would be 4 turns per 2 weeks for 22.00 as opposed to 2
turns for 15.80 USD. GB lends itself to PWR by its very definition,
IMO. I miss the fast pace games that GSI use to run when they were
doing well.

Assuming I can split a pair of GB nations, as per normal, count

Anyone else willing to step-up and test their skill or lack thereof?

If there's enough players I'd do it.

I'd be happy to play as well.

If there's interest in a Gunboat game then we can do that. I doubt we can get a Power format of this game (seeing on how hard it is to get a 1650 game set-up) but a GB game seems doable. I'll post the rules to the list soon. If you're interested get in touch.

I would be very interested in a 1000 GB but a Power game might be a
bit much.
Work demands, family, all of that. I'd be hard pressed to get turns
in on time.
But if there is sufficient interest please put me down for a 1000
Gunboat!

Count me in for a PWR FA1000 Gunboat game. The one part of the FA1000
Gunboat game I didn't like was waiting two weeks between turns. With no
diplomacy to deal with, this seemed like an incredible waste of time.

Yep the plan is not to do a Power format of this as I don't think there's enough interest. A normal GB 1000 is fine though and we'll see if that gets enough interest.
So far Steve, Clint, (maybe Mike M), Greg are the players.

I played 4 GB games solo but now greatly prefer spitting a pair with
an ally. Still have the "fog of war" but you have an ally to discuss
and plan with. Not sure if that would help with RL time constraints
but thought I would mention it.

Splitting a duo is fine. Also if you only want to play one nation there are 2 Kingdoms (played separately).
So you get 10 FP nations (5 players), 10 DS (5 players) and 2 Kingdoms (one FP one DS - one player each). 3 nations not played. So in total we need 12 players.

Can we at least keep the PWR format question open for now?
Sure but I've already had 2 players ask for it not to be so it seems unlikely.
I really miss the one week games. Since I dont care for 1650 there is
no game that I can join to process weekly or less.
Get 24 more interested and we can do it! (Or for GB 11)

Who is interested in an FA1000 Gunboat PWR game? If we can get 12, then
I'll gladly back out of the non-PWR game apparently forming and go for
the quicker one.
I BELIEVE that we currently have 4 of the 12 necessary.
