Game 16 - Sauron rejects Mithril for Food Program

Ho ho, pull the other one. We have no idea what you mean about bridges, must be more shoddy Gondorian workmanship . . .

Simon.

Didn’t that bridge used to lead right into some kind of fort? I remember it clearly from those heady days before the war. Gondor, maybe its time to use a little more timber in your construction projects, because 1/2 a timber just isnt enough.
Adunaphel

So I take it the backstabber is also a blowheart and you refuse to accept the challenge. Ji’s rambling were met with much laughter. Yes many of us will die. But it won’t be done with false bravado as the cloud lords minions do. Don’t worry however as we’ll be throwing out a pile load of challenges your way this turn. Let’s find out who the coward really is.
Belechael

Backstabber? Now you praise me with the most highest honour and I thank you for your kind and diplomatic words. Is their worth in the Gondor men yet?

Still, you call me Blowheart but we know well where the wind is blowing from the men of Gondor right now . . . both ends!

Simon.

Gondorians are men of honor. We’ll send a definition so you know what that word means. We don’t bs you and we don’t bs the neutrals. Our word is our bond, which is more than you can say about a backstbbing coward. The offer still stands we don’t refuse you don’t refuse. Our men are still laughing at the thought of the cloud lord calling anyone a coward. Morale is up significantly.
Belechael

Let your men laugh . . . it relaxes the muscles for a smoother insertion of the blade and inceases circulation to allow our poisons to flow. It’s also nice to think that they will have enjoyed their final moments.

Forget your definition of honour, words are easy and merely the tools of con men and politicians. Trades that the Cloud Lord would never stoop to recognise. Deeds define us, the sharpness of our blades mark our characters, our stealth is our honour and the body count of our enemies is our karma.

And in challenges I’d suggest that the Free have been found wanting in recent turns. Tempt us not.

Simon.

Anyone else realized that it’s quite late to not have had even a single neutral make a move yet?? Oh, silly me, of course they haven’t noticed! They didn’t even know there were neutrals in this game… That explains the messages I keep getting from Haruth and Ovatha…

Angamaite

If pretty talk were actions the cld.l. would be king. You mock us for refusing yet still defend not accepting it. I’ll leave it to all to hear the words of the cld.l. not matter which face is talking.

Belechael

Oh Belechael,
Like a dog bewildered by the club that beats it, you confuse the weapon for the attack. The violence you face is so seemingly senseless but, please, do not despair. When your empire collapses, exhausted from the torments that have battered her, comfort yourself with the knowledge that the Nazgul were always the more vicious and cruel in their dealings. Our lies were the more craven. Our deeds were more despised. Were life fair, there is no question good men would rise to the surface like cholesterol greasing a pool of blood. You have the moral high ground, Belechael, and that is the only thing we won’t take from you.

As for you Angamaite, I have heretofore been polite. You smell, and we have been ignoring you out of courtesy.
Adunaphel

So you have never tried to beat a mad dog with a club. You will soon learn a valuable lesson.

Belechael

Belechael is an army commander, a leader of men and still hides behind his mother’s skirts when challenged.

Ji moves like a shadow in the night, his stealth and sharp blades do his negotiating for him.

To compare the two is foolish beyond understanding.

Simon.

Than Ji’s mouth should be like the rest of him unseen and unheard. Gondorians lay much credence to Ji’s proclamations about sneakeness and assainations. But for him to appear in the light of day and make bold statements about others courage allows his to be called into question. If the scrutiny of light is to much for him let him remain silent and unseen.
We respect Ji’s blades but not his mouth nor his courage. We come to lay waste to nothing less than capitals.
Let’s see who’se refusing a challenge this day.
Does the FK wish to not refuse this turn. Or is only odd numbered weeks that he challenges. Oh, that must be some nazgul voodoo thing.

Hey Seejaie,

you frogot to mention Arantar in your listing or doesn´t he count

Oh, he counts, you frigid dope. If your Nazgul dotard allies don’t remember, rest assured the Northmen do. We remembered this past week when we stomped the nation responsible, as Eoder and our midg…er, Dwarven friends wiped Hargrog’s infantry off the map. Continued vengeance against Din’s comrades will be inflicted again in just a few days when Drurgandra bites it and the Northmen reclaim Dilgul.

But gosh, all congrats to the Long Rider. With a huge calvary advantage and weeks to prepare, he’s got one solitary Northmen town to show for his efforts. Well, for a few more days at least. Enjoy the character game.

Eastern Mordor is just going to be one gaping hole. Man, hope the Easterlings don’t go Free or anything…

It will be, as will Belechael . . .

Simon.

Belechael will do his duty. We only fear not reaching the battle. Already replacements are lining up.All commanders with any agent skill know there fate. Yet , only time constraints limit the amount we can press into service at any onr time.
Belechael
Belechael Jr.
Belechael III
Belechael IV

Preparedness never was the eyeballs strongpoint. We are never prepared to lose leaders being the simpletons we are .
3000 men or one weeks recruiting it’s all the same.
Belechael et al

Don’t tell me Dunphie, you also play the cello?
