Game 18 at last

Dug in… like a grave you mean

If you think so !

Have Fun !

Gixxx

Witch King has lost 1 MT, 2 towns, and 3 villages. “mostly unscathed”…? That’s interesting. But hey, now you can give Mordor your extra MT’s instead of the other way around. We like to do things differently here, you’re welcome.

Beora

If you are “about the same” as Gixxx… no wonder I find you hard to understand.

Good job at barad? What did we do there? I thought we were attacking elsewhere but if we’re doing well there too, I’m for that… and a little praise from our enemy is good for morale too i spose

Where’s all the Blind troops… you guys aint gonna tell me all you have out back is the wounded LR startups?

Eoder slurred his command orders…"<burp> down drinkths, party’s over flellas, time for business and ‘urp’ bloodbarfs, the DS have left the dunny door wide open… Charge, last turd in is a rotten Margott… leave noffin alive!!!"

Hmmm, so the stuff I take or take back doesn’t count? For the record, the Rhu and WK defensive protectorate  has taken an MT and two towns…and will have reclaimed many of the WK pops you’ve taken by the end of this turn. (Arthedain didn’t even say thanks when they won the movement coin toss at 1907 and reclaimed the 11k of food they’d given me earlier  )

Granted everything is relative…I see now that you hold a defense of the west to a much higher standard than I.

Ah yes, I see, I forgot Imladris. Okay, so defend the west. We’ll be content with Morannon, Durthang, Barad Perras and Dol Guldor for the time being.

Cheers,

Beora

It’s an interesting game so far, still up for grabs and I am learning some new tricks and enjoying myself so thanks for a good game so far.

Any interest in a pdf swap after the game or general question\answer?

I archive all my game files, but respect the players rights to their files. For those who provide me with permission, I’ll distribute those files.

G’day AD’s
Rhu and Wk took back a MT? Perhaps you “exchanged” some of yours for some of ours or vice versa but we are a sharing freep… you must love us for that

The defense of the west is highly achievable… me and the big Ape have been there and done that, got the shirt for it, in this style of gaming. I grant you, our oposition ‘May not’ have been as good as your lot?? but I think Brad (‘the good Brad’, if there is such a thing  makes a good point in regards to your up coming relocation plan…

Swapping Mordor for a couple of brown lands towns and a long winded northwest capaign doesn’t cut it with our lot, I’ll let you know.

However, by all means display your joy right here in post so you can have your balloon deflated by pricks like me, any/every time

And may your Dog cav continue to flounder around uselessly towards the west and the Duns so we freeps can make and rename “Nodoor” (it’s wide open), a better place. Just remember this, when the B’s (Bain’s Boys and Beora Brad) clean their hive out and the Duns removes your letheless Dog doo doo from MEarth, your going to be in for a whole lot of fun with your “defensive protectorate”

Have fun all the same

Eoder, story teller of the East

You have my permission but who’d want to look at the boring Nmen game… I just ask you wait till after I’ve cleared out the backdoor and snuck off with their wallets before you hand my files over

The Tripple X files of the Northmen should be available soon

Ditto

Greetings Freps,
I guess we will see some interesting battles next turn.

… and I’m not speaking about the NW !

Have Fun !

Gixxx

Your not speaking of the nwest because you don’t live there… otherwise you’d be talking nothing else

Where’s the Blind sorcerer troops… lets talk about them

The patrol from the Osgiliath garrison watched from their hidden position as the two men approached them. Finally the sharp eyed scout said “Sir, they appear to be wearing the uniform of Gondor.” The Targen quickly ordered the patrol to mount up and they approached the two. Only when they got closer did they recognize the muddy and tired Gondorian soldiers as the famous Lords Caranthir and Argirion who had left a month ago at the head of 9,500 troops on an expedition to wrest back control of the City of the Moon. The weary pair told of the tragedy that had befallen the flower of Gondor. They told of nearly constant fighting and the destruction of the entire army by the screaming hordes of Mordor. Many of the finest of the land had been lost including the famous lords Vinyaran and Celdrahil of Southern Gondor. It would be a sad day when this news was received back within the walls of Osgiliath. The quest had failed, the City of the Moon was still firmly in the hands of Mordor. Only two remained to tell the tale.

Hmmm… I thought they told of the constant fighting and the destruction of the screaming hordes of Mordor. It will be a happy day when Osgiliath recieves this news instead of said hordes… Perspective. Now, who’s gonna assemble another “horde” first…?

Well perhaps that’s the question. Then again perhaps not.

… and the useless lords of the Northmen watched on as all the ancy nancy Mordorians made remarks about killing some cannon fodder known as SoldaPill and Vinyard… sounding like a good party to attend, he wondered at how he could join such a festival?

What focus does our enemy have wondered Barfin… who continued to do so, for he had run into the runaway chariot horde the Rider who was Long… a long way from his home.

While the City of the Moon was held by the Lords of Darkness, the Moon of the Northmen was revealed but the moon did not shine upon many of the enemy for there was little of them to speak of? Still, Eoder said, “it’s the thought that counts”

Still, the empty minded Northmen wondered what stories would be told behind the walls of Dol Nomore, Durgone and Morannone, which still remains a walless wasteland?

It didn’t matter, for the orders had come, “The people of Rhun, down your tancards, we must move on Mordor fast before our greedy allies claim it all for their own” “To Battle, we wait no more for our enemy to arrive, we fight him in his own backyard!”

… after they were able to beat the FK, DaLi’s and the whole CL-army as well.

Hey there Bradden,
not much to report ?

Have Fun !

Gixxx

Yes they did save the Cloud Lord a lot of gold. She was looking for a cost effective way to lighten her maintenance burden so many thanks to the Gondors. Other than that, well let’s see the Fire King hires armies for Free so his losses aren’t that big a deal, as evidenced by the fact that it was his new recruits and those of the Dark Lieutentants that put paid to the expedition. Must not have been too awfully serious a loss to the Dark Lieutentants when looked at from that perspective. Minas Ithil still sits firmly in the hands of the Dark Lieutentants and Barad Ungol in the Fire King’s.

Brad’s point is well made, however we remain on our recruiting centers. So our horde production proceeds. You failed to mention the expendable cannon fodder commanders. That is indeed one advantage to the Free that 60 rank commanders are cannon fodder.

They are but an expensive burden. Most aren’t true Regents, so many years of peace. New, eager, battle ready blood seekers, that is our goal. Thanks for accelerating the modernization of our forces.
